Since 2017, Thirsk Community Library has been proudly run by local volunteers supported by North Yorkshire Council. As a registered charity (No. 1169352), we exist for one reason: to support our community.

But we’re so much more than books:

• 👧👨 Regular activities for children & adults - from story times to workshops

• 📱 🖥️ Digital Buddies – friendly help with your IT, smartphone, or computer challenges

• 🧵✂️ Thirsk Repair Café - Friends of The Earth  – bring your garden shears (and more) to be sharpened/fixed and saved from the bin!
