Rural Arts and Thirsk Community Library are collaborating on a new venture. 

From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September, Thirsk will embrace all things bookish, creative, curious and magical as we launch Bookmarked: Thirsk.

Across three days, there’ll be 24 events to discover across the town, with authors, artists, performers, storytellers and creative people bringing the town to life through workshops, talks, illustration, writing, heritage, film, performance and opportunities to get involved.

And this is only the beginning...

Bookmarked: Thirsk is a year-long programme created with local people, businesses and community groups, bringing creativity into the everyday life of our town.
